The Mental Game of Content Creation 🧠

How to Stay Consistent & Overcome Self-Doubt 🚀

When that creative spark suddenly hits you

One of the biggest questions I get is: How do you post so consistently? I could never keep up with that. My response? You absolutely can—if it’s a priority.

Posting Consistently Isn’t Hard—You Just Don’t Prioritize It 📅🎯

If you have a full-time job, you would never forget to answer emails or lose motivation to follow up with your superiors. You’d just do it—because it’s a necessary part of the job.

Content creation is no different.

✅ The more you shift your mindset to treat posting like a non-negotiable, the easier it gets.
✅ Consistency isn’t about motivation, it’s about discipline. ✅ Show up daily—even when it feels like no one’s watching (because they are).

When you make content a priority, posting every day isn’t daunting—it’s just part of the gig.

Beating Creative Blocks: The Power of a “Fallback” Strategy 🔄🛠

If you’re in this game long enough, you’ll hit creative ruts. The trick? Have a safety net.

For me, that’s relatable content. They’re:
đŸ”„ Easy to create.
đŸ”„ Always engaging.
đŸ”„ A low-effort way to keep posting when creativity is low.

Think of this as your backbone—a content format that’s easy to execute and still valuable. Then, when inspiration does hit, you can pour your energy into story-driven content:
đŸŽ€ Walk & talk videos.
📌 “3 reasons why
” style clips.
💾 Reviews of overpriced Erewhon items (or whatever niche makes sense for you).

Having both consistent, replicable content and higher-effort experimental content will keep your engagement steady, reduce pressure, and—most importantly—keep brands in your inbox.

Handling Self-Doubt: The Creator Rollercoaster 🎱🧠

Every creator—yes, every creator—experiences self-doubt. Viral hot streaks are followed by slow streaks. Peaks and valleys are part of the game.

What’s helped me? Embracing the iterative process.

✅ Experiment, analyze, and adjust—don’t obsess over the numbers.
✅ Imposter syndrome? Completely normal. Every creator has it.
✅ The ones who “make it” are the ones who push through the doubt.

What does making it even mean? A certain follower count? A financial milestone? Who knows. But one thing’s for sure: You have to be a little delusional to succeed in this space.

And you will be judged—until you start hitting your goals. Especially when you hit your financial goals. And then you really won’t care. You’ll welcome it. 😉
